How Patch Backing Works

Choose from traditional sew-on backings for a classic and durable attachment. If you prefer a more convenient option, our iron-on backings provide easy application with the heat of an iron. For those seeking a versatile backing, our hook and loop (Velcro) option allows you to easily attach and detach your patches as needed. Whatever your preference, we have the perfect patch backing to suit your needs.
Velcro Backing
The Velcro backing allows quick and easy removal of the patch from clothing. Velcro closure is great if you have multiple patches or if you need to remove patches frequently.
Iron-On Backing
All you need is an iron for quick and easy installation. Place the patch on your clothing, cover with a thin damp towel to avoid burns, and iron over the patch for 20-30 seconds until fully adhered.
Tape Backing
Adhesive backing is versatile and less permanent than other backing options. Great for quick and easy removal of outfits and costume bags.
Plastic Backing
A hard plastic backing is added to the patch. This gives the bandage extra support and allows it to retain its shape even after continued use. Can be used in conjunction with iron-on pads.

Button Loop
Button loops are great for patches that need to be attached to lapel pins or buttons. No sewing or gluing required. All you need is something to hang the patch on.
